"I see fashion as a powerful form of expression where the designer expresses his or her soul, passion, personal journey and experiences all in the designs and garments. Fashion is a tool, a visual voice, which allows others to get a glimpse of who you are. Living in New York, I am constantly surrounded by the influential culture of fashion and art, which has inspired me to embrace the beautiful cycle of fashion."

Jessica's Collection: My collection consists of evening gowns and evening coats. This collection is inspired by the soft shapes and silhouettes of the 1960's, more so of Cristobal Balenciaga, whom I incredibly admire and see as one of the most fascinating and influential designers of all time. The color palette is inspired by the effortless beauty and texture of nature itself.

What about Fusion are you most excited about? When I was in high school, I watched Fusion for the first time on the Style Network and I immediately thought how amazing it would be for my designs to go down that runway. Now, that I am one of the selected designers for Fusion, this will be my time to have my designs walk down that same runway.
