"Fashion is wearable art. It is a way of self-expression and reflects a person’s personality. It is a way to make a statement, whether it is to be bold, soft, controversial, conventional… it is completely up to the individual."
Angela's collection: My collection is inspired by Salvador Dali’s painting- Swans Reflecting Elephants. Dali creates the illusion of the double-image of swans in a lake with reflections resembling elephants. The pieces in my collection have the contrast of rigid opaque fabrics with light transparent
fabrics. They also include structured leather pieces that contrast with the soft flow of some of the fabrics. My color palette is silver, lavender, gold, bronze, and brown. The fabrics all have a metallic
quality.
What about Fusion are you most excited about? I am really excited to be a part of such a creative, diverse fashion show and to see the outcome of everyone's hard work.
