"Fashion, to me, is part of making history because it integrates what is happening in society into the clothes that we wear. Fashion is a form of art using seams, textiles, and fabrics rather than paints and a canvas."

Jayoon's collection: My collection is inspired by the Dandy fashion during the 19th century. It includes a menswear style tweaked with a minor feminine touch to the overall look. This collection is a semi-couture genre with the color palette of black, blues, turquoise, purple, and light pinks.

What about Fusion are you most excited about? I'm most excited about the whole final process of presenting what I’ve been working on because in school, as a sophomore, and even in the industry, at least in the beginning of my fashion career, I wont get a chance to put my actual ideas on the runway. Preparing the models, getting the whole concept just like I pictured it, and experiencing a snippet of my future career are things I’m also excited about.
