What is fashion to you? Fashion to me has always been my escape from reality; something that occupied my brain whilst I was droving cattle in the Australian Outback.

Collection: “A Sunburnt Country” - My collection is a ready-to-wear collection, which pays homage to my Australian roots. It is a mixture of Australian outback and Aboriginal Art. The play on the Australian fly cork hats and oilskin jackets are paired with the colors of aboriginal art and earthy tones from my childhood.

All the colors in this collection are inspired by the world I grew up in. I love the contradiction between luxury and rustic that the country holds. Ultimately, I wanted to take all these vivid images from my childhood and transform them in to something women would look beautiful in.

What/who inspires you? So much of my inspiration has come from the world around me and the experiences I have had. There are so many things that inspire if you keep your eyes open.

What does Fusion mean to you? Fusion has been an amazing opportunity for me to showcase my concepts and ideas. It has been a fantastic and fundamentally important opportunity in creating more experiences and has added to my growth as a designer.
