What is fashion to you? Fashion is the medium in which I can effectively express my creativity by complimenting my consumer’s persona. I have found this part of the industry to be the most rewarding in my journey as an aspiring designer.

Collection: “FIERCE CONCOURSE” – My collection deals with the struggle between good and evil, darkness and light, transparency and opacity, etc. The title says it all. “FIERCE” because of the sharp design among the geometric and symmetrical patterns in the head forms. “CONCOURSE” due to contrasts in color, such as white and black and where other opposites meet, such as good and evil motifs.

What/who inspires you? Many designers and artists have inspired my creations from fabrication techniques to natural stimulations. Labels such as Alexander McQueen, Yves Saint Laurent, and Gareth Pugh have had such impacts with their talents and niche in the fashion industry. The world and its many cultures will always affect my design in a positive way, reflecting my vision as an aspiring global designer. I strive to represent perfection in design and skill by seeking inspiration from my solid principles and morals as a Christian.

What does Fusion mean to you? Fusion is a fashion show I am proud to take part in because I strongly believe in the experience and opportunities it can create for me as an aspiring designer. I am very excited to be working with many of my generation’s top designers towards a common goal of making Fusion one of the finest shows in the world for fashion students to participate in.
