What is fashion to you? Fashion is emotional-from the way we interpret what defines our character to creating our own reality by seeing what other people wear. Everyone can embody their own spark without needing to vocalize their feelings. Simply look at the color palette of a person's wardrobe and the different lengths of cuts and you'll get a story.
Collection: "Tangibility in Surgical Diagnosis" - I want to challenge the fine line between the surgical practices of medical science and the artistic medium of human emotion when an individual is diagnosed with a disease. I dwell into the struggle of gaining acceptance of an outcome by understanding the medical context as well as the chaotic cycle of trying to separate numbness/sadness from reality. I look into lenticular processes, virus development in the body, as well as trying to grasp a sense of tangibility with a difficult position out of one's control.
What/who inspires you? My night terrors are a constant source of inspiration as well as the constant need to feel. As a nihilistic optimist, I strive to gather my thoughts and create a sense of control, as I can be extremely troubling at times. I absolutely look up to Tina Chow for muse inspiration as I find her absolutely timeless and disturbingly beautiful.
What does Fusion mean to you? Fusion is the source of my anxiety attacks. Just kidding! I am extremely grateful to be part of the team as it is a stepping-stone to proving what I am capable of doing as well as my way of inspiring others.
